I DID IT!!!

Howdy!!!! :) I really need to work on posting everyday! :/ Well... more like mom did it. We have now purchased a second band book. Oh, wait, I don't think I have told yet! :) I am in a home school band that a lot of people I know do. I play a flute, And the year before last year, I was in beginners band. Last year, I didn't do band, because mom was expecting, and we didn't want to cause to much stress for her. :) So now I will get to be in intermediate band!!! :) I told dad the day I found out that I would be in second, and he asked what that meant, and I told him it meant that I was one step closer to being a professional. ;) Mom laughed after I said that. :) Oh! Also I have finished typing my first story, and have started writing my second! I am rather excited about this book! :) And, 35 more days till the ball. I have discovered that the tickets per person will be 20 dollars!!! And after September 12th, it will be 25 dollars per person!!!!! O_O That's a lot of money! But, I did find out that chaperons can get in for free, but can't dance. :/  Dad is going to take me, but it think he might want to dance! :) I remembered that I have a really pretty fall colored skirt in my closet, that would go really well with my blouse!!! :) I guess I won't be looking so medieval after all! :) If I go! :)

Starting Anew

    I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve! It feels like this Christmas season has flown by so quickly!     This coming year is going to be a new start for me, and I want to make it a good one. I turn eighteen on January 1st, (cue the panic) so not only is it a new year, it's a new age for me. A new year, a new age, and hopefully a new mindset.     To be honest, whenever I heard the word 'mindset', I always kinda shut my brain down. 'Yeah, change your mindset and you can change your lifestyle, and all that stuff.' But now that things have gotten busy for me and I've gotten older, I need a new mindset. I need a new lifestyle. I'm going to be an adult, I need to work harder on the important things in life such as my relationships with friends, family and the Lord, my home life, my school work, and my health.     I want to make this year better than 2019. Jesus Death

We have made to the story of His death! YAY! Okay, if you are not a christian, and are wondering why we christian's get excited about this, here's the answer. Jesus died to save us from our sins and give us a second chance. He died to redeem us. That's why we get excited for Easter.
