A Family In Christ

Hi. I only have time to do a short quick post. I was thinking about pennies earlier. (I know what you are probably thinking. 'Pennies? Really?') ;) Anyway. I was thinking about them, when I realized, we are a lot like pennies!! O_o Okay. Now you must be thinking, 'Jess... Are you okay?' ;) So... A penny is only one cent. Not worth very much, and we aren't worth very much because we are so terrible and filled with sin! But... if someone is saving up for something, every penny becomes important. We are like that to God! Everyone is worth something to him, because, He is saving up to do wonderful works with us in the world!! That is what makes us like pennies!!! :) If you see anything I missed, just leave a comment to let me know! :)

Sorry I was gone so long. I took a computer break for a week, this might sound wierd, but it was rather hard! O_o So... News. I told you several posts ago, that we were going to a airsoft war at some friends house. The first round, my team and I were going to go hide. We split up a bit, and walked around for a bit. While walking, we walked over a lump of dirt and grass. I was third in the line of four, and thought nothing of it. Right in the midlle if the clump, I felt something puncture my ear. Turns out, I had stepped on a wasps nest. I got stung eleven times, and missed the first few rounds. I did go back out later and had a ton of fun!!! :) I still have some marks on my arms, but other than that, I'm fine. :) While at the airsoft war, I had my camera with me at the end. We had taken a big bag, like the small lunch bags, to hold our waterbottles and lunch, my water bottle has a airhole on the top, so when it tips, it leaks. I had just filled it up and carefully positioned it so ...

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Like my sister said a few years ago on her blog on 9-11, the quote from Theodore Roosevelt: The more we know about the past, the better prepared we are for the future! :) I don't know what to say. I've been kind of radomly thinking today. So, since today is my random day, I thought I would post some REALLY random pics. :P So, without further-a-do! This is my younger bro. We went to the beach a while ago, and he was cold after getting in the water, so, he came to the blanket wrapped up in a towel, and started eating cookies out of the package! ;) He's so cute!!! :)    This is the big stack of books on the shelf above my desk. :) I'm sure everyone, well most people I know have read some of them. :)    A polar bear at the zoo, I tried to get a picture of the otter (which was a big show off!)  ;) But he didn't want to hold still! :/   "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas!!! Only a hippopotamus will do!!!" ;) I love the hippo song!!! :) If you don't know what I'm talking about... uh... ask your parents to look it up! Or... do something you can do, um... I don't know! O_o  ;) It's a pretty funny song! :)  Some pretty flowers at the zoo. :)...

My younger sister didn't know what a giraffe was when my sister-in-law sent us a picture of one. So, we just had to go to the zoo. And we did. We went yesterday, while it rained. :/ And had a shivering cold good time! ;) I hope my pictures will work! Let's see... It work's!!!!!! ;) I found out that if you turn the flash off, and push the button half way down, your pictures will turn out really well!! Ohhh!!!! ;) The bear was really cute, and close to!!! There was another snoozing in a small den in a rock. I tried to get a picture, but someone stepped in my way! :( We had a good time though. It was very busy!! Thankfully, the rain let up and the sun came out for a bit, so we bought elephant ears!!
