A Family In Christ

Hello all! I can't believe Christmas is almost here! It seems like our advent countdown has flown by so fast! :) Our parents said that we were going to have a small Christmas this year, but there's still a LOT of present's down under the tree. :) I'm not just saying this to make you think like I'm the perfect child, because I'm not, but, I'm pretty easy to please. I'd even be happy with a few note books from the dollar store. :) I hope you all have a merry Christmas, and that God's love for you will fill your hearts as you give to others. :) Merry Christmas. :)

Except for the snow. And the ice on our basketball court, and the book I'm about to publish, and the book I finished writing Tuesday. ;) I've actually been very busy. So, happenings. Tuesday, I finished writing another book, but this one is very small, and I'm hoping to try making a series. :) It's like fourteen chapters, thirty four pages, and 22,736 words. :) Although... now I have to edit it. :/ I do not like editing. :( Anyway! :) The snow was really coming down yesterday, it stung when it hit your face. :/ Tuesday, we went to a Christmas party at our friends house, and had a lot of fun there. :) Then... I'm working on three presents, that are hand made, and I have to sew all of them. Thankful...

I found a video of the Spartan sprint in Washougal Washington, MX Park. Long name. :/ It looks fun, but just seeing a lot of muscular guys getting tired, I start to wonder if all my training is going to be enough. I'm an optimist, so I just keep telling myself that I'll make it. :) And it does help that I'm training two of my younger brothers to do the 1 mile, and the half mile race. I keep telling them to keep pushing. I'm learning to practice what I preach, so I have to keep going if I tell them to keep going. :)  I hope the music isn't annoying. :/ Have fun! If you are considering doing a Spartan race, I say go for it! Have fun, and find out what you are capable of. ;)

I just started reading a book called 'Words That Hurt, Words That Heal', by Carole Mayhall. It really got me thinking on my words. Are my words like a fountain of life, or are they like a babbling brook, running on the surface, rushing helter-skelter over the rocks? I'm a fast talker, and sometimes I don't really stop and think about what my words might do to others before I say them. "The written word is a powerful thing, you've got to be careful with it." -Mo Fulchart from "Inkheart". I know that as a writer, I was given a gift of being able to put words on paper and create a story, another world for people to delve into. But I often use this gift for more entertainment than for what God would want me to do. I don't write bad things, but they aren't necessarily christian things. I often have doubts about my writing when I think about that. Anyways, I should use this gift that God has given me for His glory, and to use it to introduce ot...

It's snowing today! I'm sitting upstairs at my desk, with coffee and a santa clause hat. (not that I believe in santa, I just like the hat.) ;) I'm working on so many Christmas presents at one time, it's a little crazy. :/ Although, I did make a dress for my little sister without a pattern and it turned out pretty well. I need to make the neckline a little bit wider though. I'll probably work on that today. The Christmas concert a my church is coming up so fast! It's next Sunday, and my voice has been going away a little but, and I'm going to be singing with some friends of mine. So I'm afraid that my voice will go away right before we do it. :( Anyway. The snow is beautiful. And watching it fall is really cool. I'm so glad that God made things that we can just sit and be in awe of. Thank you God, for sending your son down to earth, to be born as a child, and to die for our sins. :) Merry Christmas everyone. :)                     ...

Hello all! If you are a veteran, and you are reading this, I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you, for serving our country. I've only watched cleaned up war movies (as in, we use a filter) and I just wonder how you can do that. Going over there, knowing you could never come back, yet you still do it. I thank you for that. If there's is any one who you know that has PTSD, please tell them that I'm praying for them. I respect you guys so much. Thank you.  

The wedding is over! It actually happened Sunday, but I'm just now getting around to blogging. :/ It was beautiful! The theme was a rustic, and a little bit of western. We got there a nine in the morning, throw in a lot of running around (for me) doing different jobs, seeing if there's anyone who needs done, and then throw in a lot of dancing at the end (which was amazing!), my feet hurt like crazy when we got home. :/  Apparently the Chicken dance is a tradition in the grooms family. I did that and laughed the whole time. :) It was just a fun time. And then I ate way to many giant chocolate chip cookies, and then ate more when we got home. ;) I was planning on posting pictures, but I don't have any, and they're all on my dad's phone. :/ I'll try to figure out a way to put some on later. (As in 'some other time') ;) GOOD BYE!!!! :)

I found Percy and Annabeth! ;) Percy: "This makes me look cool, right?" Annabeth: *groan* "Percy!" The ball was amazing! I danced so much. I was limping like crazy! :) I really don't remember the names of the dances except for two. The Female Sailor and Row Well Ye Mariners. :/ Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of my favorite. :( But... I had a good time. :)

Well, no, I'm not... but my sister is. ;) My sister is awesome at Spartan races! She brings home a lot of cool stories about her races. Here's one of my favorites. She had to do a thing that was kind of like a tire flip, but it was with something else, I'm not sure what though, and there was one for the ladies and one for the men. She headed for the one for the men, when a volunteer told her that the other one was for the ladies. She asked if she could try the men's. He smiled and let her try. She and another guy started at the same time. She got back right as the guy flipped his first. :) My sister is awesome! ;) I'm hoping to do the 1 mile race next year when it comes to Oregon. :) I can't wait. I'm going to set up an obstacle course in our pasture (which is pretty big) and it's quite muddy at this time since it's been raining a lot, which will make it more like the real thing, and I'll be able to get used to the mud. But there are a few hazard...

 Proverbs 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all you heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. Wow. Trust God. Cast your cares on Him, and he will take care of you. Talk about God's extreme love for us! :) I love the idea of God walking right beside me with his arm draped around my shoulders saying, 'This one is mine!' :) 'Amazing love, how can it be, that thou my God, should die for me.' :)

My favorite character from Narnia is... EDMUND!!! ;) I really like Edmund, because he portrays us better than the others. We all fall to temptation sometimes, but with Gods help, (Aslan) we can turn back to the good side. :) And also, he's super funny. ;)  This is the cutest! :)      ;)  Edmund faces. You can never tire of them. ;) More Edmund faces! ;)  I think Edmund and Lucy have the best brother/sister relationship in all stories. :) 

Never to far gone. Quite reassuring! :) It's so cool to think that, no matter what our sin, or how far we've strayed from God, He is always ready to forgive, and forget! :) I hope this song helps anyone out there who needs reassurance, that God is always ready to to forgive, and wrap us in His love. :)  :)

It's interesting thinking about how similar we are to the stars. God made us to shine for Him, to shine so that through us, others could see Him. God helps us shine by giving us trials, to test our faith, and to make it grow stronger and to walk with Him more. Stars can't shine without darkness.

Hello! ;) There's been lots of excitement  around my house today. So, first off, mom and and my second older sister went to a bridle shower for my first older sister (confusing) while dad and the rest of us skipped church today, since that would have been way to crazy! Then later, dad had a deacons meeting at the church, so dad, my youngest brother and I went to the meeting, while my OLDER brother (sorry, this is really confusing) stayed home with the rest of the kids. Then after dinner, dad took all of us kids, except the youngest little guy (he stayed home with mom) to the Dallas Aquatic Center. Or, for short, the Dallas pool, as the kids call it. We swam and played for about two hours, then after we got home, we big kids were just hanging out, when mom asked me to feed the kittens. Here's were the excitement starts. I took one step on to the back porch, I looked into the corner were there is this hole in the porch, and saw something big, and tan. It was growling loudly! I fr...

This is rather strange. :/ I can't say happy 9/11 day, because that would just feel wrong. :/ Please remember all the people, and firefighters who died on this day many years ago. And please also pray for the families who had loved ones in the those towers. I'm sure they still remember it to this day and are still sad. I... am tired!!! :/ I had a Orthodontist (did I spell that right?) appointment Tuesday,, really early in the morning, and then mom and I went clothes shopping, because I was in desperate need of more pants, then we did our big grocery shopping. Then Wednesday, my family and I went to Oaks Park, had a BLAST there, and the weather was great! :) The today, mom and my younger brother had a doctors appointment all the way in Portland, and Daniel cried a lot of the time we were there, and then after the doctor, we went to Costco, and did some shopping there. The little guy cried some more. On our way through town, almost home, we had to stop at Walmart and make an exchange. After that we headed home. The little guy screamed most of the way. On our way home, my favorite song by Chris Rice came on, and after that, came a song that I also like, by Johnny Diaz . It helped. :)  This is the first one.  And this is the second.

It feels like fall!!!! I'm eating hot apple crisp, along with a hot cup of hot chocolate! :) It's rather wet outside, so it feels like summer is over already! :) And you know what that means? Back to school!!! I'm actually excited about school this year. I can't wait to start! Along with school, comes apple cider doughnuts, going to the pumpkin patch, apple pie, (oh my goodness!) ;) Thanksgiving, shopping for Christmas, (at least in our family) trees turning different colors, and squirrel hunting.   That bit was a small gift from my older brother. :/ ;) He's excited about squirrel hunting this year. :/ He tried to get me to go hunting with him, but he's going to get up at around dawn!!! I don't even like getting up at nine! :( Just joking!!! I'm not an early bird though. :/  I hope everyone is excited about school this year!!!! ;) (evil laugh) ;) I know I am! I've got some... BIG NEWS!!!!! Sort of. ;) I... am going... to enter into a writing contest! :) (YAY!!!) ;) I'm going to enter into the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest. Which is a really big event, and my writing probably isn't going to be enough to get into even third place, but, I might as well try! :) I am a little confused though. If any one knows any more about this, PLEASE comment. Any advice would so appreciated! So, do I just send my entry in as soon as I'm done writing it, and it will be judged, and the results will come by the next deadline? (Does that even make any sense?) :/ Anyway! :) The entry's are supposed to be, either, Sci-Fi, or fantasy. I'm going with fantasy, because, I could not write a science-fiction story to save my life! ;) My story (I'm trying not to give to much away) is set in the viking times, but... My brother and I have started our own "USPSA" (United States Practical Shooting Association) competition against each other. :) We have a really big pasture behind our house, so we turned it into an improvised shooting range. :) We made a short video of us in action.   Can you guess who's score is who's? Heh. Sorry for bein' late. Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers around the world! :) It's mind boggling to think about it, but, without mothers, there would be no future, no people here, no famous people in the past, there would be nothing! These are the funniest videos I've ever seen!!!! These kids are acting as Percy Jackson characters!!!! :)  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!  I laughed way to hard at this!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)   The music might be a little weird at some parts, but, if you know about the characters personalities, it's even funnier!!!!! Especially with Nico. The kid in the black all the time :)

Our sister-in-law and her kids came for a visit. She just got here not to long ago. I took my niece on the trampoline while de nephew stayed inside. :) I got some pics and a video of her. She is just the cutest thing!!!!!!! :)  She's so happy!!!!!! And cute!!!! ;)   The video won't work. :| Darn it. :/  (for those who don't say that, please forgive me) ;) It's all of my video's don't work. :( Maybe I'll get a different one. :)

 A friend of my dad's died today. Please pray for comfort for their family, and that they'll be able to find peace in this time without their dad around. Here's a song that is really cool. :)  If God loves us so much, that He made a plan to send His one and only son to die on a cross for us, than He has a plan for our lives as well. The way we live and die, everything. And only He know's how we will turn out in our lives, and how we will die. :0 (Ooooh!!!!! Scary!) He knows more about us than we know our selves. He knows our names. :)

Howdy ya'll!!!! ;) My family and I just got home from church. The sermon today was AMAZING!!!!!!! Our pastor is out of town, so someone else came to preach. It was so good!!!!! :) I'm not saying that our pastors sermons aren't amazing!!! I'm just saying that I liked this one. :) It made me think about this song called 'While I'm Waiting' by John Waller. :) It's cool! :)  :) I LOVE IT!!!!!!! :) I hope you all like it too!!!!! :)

Hello!!!! Sorry about the silence! :/ I haven't really had any thing to blog about, except for Easter. For Easter, we had three families over for lunch. We had so much fun! In our Easter basket, there was an envelope saying that on Monday we would get a trampoline!!!! :) So it's all set up, and the weather is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! :) I got a video today while I jumped on it. :) It's been a long time since I went on a trampoline!!! :)  Enjoy! :)

My nephew is here! He was born March 23rd 2016, at... some time after lunch. :/ Some Aunt I am! ;) Yep! He is my newest nephew. :) Now I have two nephews and a niece. :) I wish I could put a picture on, but I don't have one on the computer. :/ I'll try to get some when we get more!!!!! :)

Mom and my older sister went to Mo to see my oldest sister, and and her baby. My nephew. :) They left OR on Sunday, and just got back at ten last night. :) It's so nice having mom home again!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) Band is starting back up again to day!!!! :) I'm glad to be going back!!! :) I hope I'll be able to play in third band next year, although I'm not sure what flute I'm going to use! :/ So, today's pic, is... um, (heh heh) I'm on my dad's computer, and... all my pics are on the desktop. :( So, I'll do another post today with the pic in it. :) Oh!!! My second oldest sister is getting married!!!! :) I'm not sure when though. :/ :) Anyway. :) So that's  the news for now! :)

 There's this song that I like to listen to. It's called He Loves Me Anyway. Or something like that. I usually cry when I listen to it. Just thinking about how, we are such big sinners, I mean, our sins are HUGE, but he loved us enough to come to earth and die on a cross so we could be forgiven, we all should be brought to our knees at this thought in GRATITUDE!!!!
