The Return to Revelation

Hey guys! And, gals. ;P Sorry it's been a while (or... more like a long time) since I have done a post on Revelations. I decided to return to that today, because I have nothing I should be doing except finishing up Christmas presents. ;D Anyways. The last time, we stopped at Revelation 2 verse 12. I will pick up there in a minute. First, I wanted to mention something that was discussed in Sunday school today. You know how, when you're on the news, a lot of the time it's all about how this person was murdered, what the terrorist are doing, how this famous person broke up with this famous person, how this person took their life the other day, and so forth. Any one see how this is all the same? It's all about the bad things that happen in the world. And so, seeing these kinds of things on the news often leads to a very popular question that many un-believers ask. 'Why would a loving God allow these evil things to happen?' Well, there is an answer to that. God didn...

Alone Time: Good or Not?

I had some alone time today, as my mom, older brother, and most of my younger siblings, left the house to run to town. I was home by myself with my two youngest brothers and, while they napped, I had some quiet alone time. Which, might not be the best thing. ;) I painted my nails, (haven't done that in ages) I watched something on Netflix, then the bat signal went out, waking up the little terrors  I mean... the sweet little angels, who are blessing sent from God above. ;D We had fun though. We watched Winnie the Pooh's Heffelump Halloween, ate pretzels and drank hot chocolate, then we had a pom pom war (we threw pom poms at each other) ;) and listened to Christmas music while I made pretzel rolls at the same time. I'm quite talented that way. ;D Then (hallelujah) the mother came home and restored order. Although with the other kids back home also, the house went back to it's normal state of a mess caused by many people. ;) So, the point of this random post..... it'...

October's Party

Image
October gave a party;   The leaves by hundreds came-   The Chestnuts, Oaks and Maples,   And leaves of every name.   The sunshine spread a carpet,   And everything was grand,   Miss Weather led the dancing,   Professor Wind the band.   The Chestnuts came in yellow,   The Oaks in crimson dressed;   The lovely Misses Maple,   In scarlet looked their best;   All balanced to their partners,   And gaily fluttered by;   The sight was like a rainbow,   New fallen from the sky.    Then, in the rustic hollow,   At hide and seek they played,   The party closed at sundown,   And everybody stayed.   Professor Wind played louder;   They flew along the ground;   And then the party ended   In jolly "hands around" ~George Cooper                                 ...

What I love About Fall

Image
I love fall. It's just a beautiful season, even with the rain. ;) It's been pouring at our house today, and the sound has been music to my ears. :D I love crisp, cold fall days, the colors of the trees, the crunch of fallen leaves, I get to pull out my favorite sweater, and then, I bake. PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!!!! Pumpkin chocolate chip scones are my favorite right now. ;) Of course, there are the down sides of fall: Spiders. -_- Big ones have started seeking refuge in our house. And there might have been some yelling now and then as they are discovered, but we won't go there. ;P Anyways, I've been on Pinterest, and found beautiful pictures of the fall season. These, my dear friends, will show you the reason why I love fall so much. :) Enjoy the weather! I'm off to possibly make hot chocolate. ;D

Remembering September 11th

Image
I can't believe it's that day again, when the huge disaster that took so many lives happened. Every time I remember those plane crashes, I wonder how the families who had loved ones on that plane are doing. I don't really know what to say, so, I'll just say, please remember to pray for the families who received phone calls, or heard on the news, that the plane their family members were on crashed, and that there were no survivors. They must have been devastated. So, please pray. I know I have posted this video before, But I'm going to do it again.   Remember to pray.

Hello and Apologies

Image
Hi. Heh heh, sorry about the silence. :/ Um.... we've been busy. :) I've started taking an online course for wedding planning (I'm not planning a wedding, I would like to be a wedding coordinator), and that has kept me busy. I think I might've mentioned something I was planning a while back, a dance? I don't remember if I said anything about that. -_- ;) Anyway. It was also a birthday party for a friend of mine. :) It went really well, although we started a little late. :/ But everyone said that they had fun, and enjoyed the party. :) So, I can mark that off as a success. XD And that's hat made me realize, that I really, really, REALLY enjoyed planning events. And, I enjoy weddings. So, I decided that I give wedding coordination a shot, and am really enjoying learning everything there is to know about weddings. Which is a lot. ;P Currently, I am planning a surprise birthday party for my younger brother. The theme is going to be hunting. I'm really excited ab...

Busy!

Hello! :D Sorry for not posting in a while. I've been busy. :) A friend of mine and I are planning an ECD Animation dance. :) Translation: an English Country Dance were people can dress up as animated characters. ;P I'm really excited about this. :D I've been busy planning decorations, and food, and my costume. :) Only one other person knows who I'm going as, and she's going as the same thing. XD Any ways. My family and I are going to Safari Sams soon. I'm hoping I'll remember to take the camera, so I can get a video. :D Last time we went, I got a video of us kids playing tag, and a picture of my teeth glowing, but they disappeared when I tried to put them on the computer. -_- I'll try to post again later with pictures and (hopefully) a video or two. :) Weird thought: Humans are so strange. We get really excited to sit in a hole in the ground full of water for about two hours. Who invented that idea? O_o  (I just went swimming with friends and brought ...

Flowers

Image
It's kind of interesting learning about a flower, or any kind of seed. When you plant the seed, one thing that it needs to do before it can grow is............. any guesses?........ die. Which I always thought my mom was wrong when I was little. ;P But now it makes sense. We are like a seed. Before there can be light, there is darkness. When God created the world, what was there before the light? Darkness. Although, Adam and Eve were perfect before they sinned, so I guess this metaphor isn't quite accurate. ;) But anyway, this song can explain things better than I can. :)

There Is A God

Image
I thought this song was beautiful. I have suffered with a lot of doubt, and my faith has been up and down, but now and then, the realization of how powerful our God is, and how much He loves me, just smacks me full force in the face. And most of the time, I cry. I'm not ashamed to say it. The thought makes me cry. I have stayed up late at night many times crying my eyes out, because I feel that I'm so unworthy of His love, but He still loves me. I wonder if I'm not good enough, I doubt that God loves me, I wonder if He really is real. And then, there's always this small thing, that makes me think, 'what am I doing? He loved me so much that He sent His son to die on the cross for me.' I'm actually crying as I write this. Please, don't doubt Him! He loves you so much! I don't know how many times I've told myself that, but please, listen to the wisdom of God. "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." He said that. Thank you God! For lovin...

Long time no see!

Wait. Is this... is this a... blog post? *GASP* She's alive!!! Sing and shout with joy! She's not dead!!!! :D Well, at least... I HOPE you're - singing for joy. You know... because I'm not dead. *cricket chirps* Oh well. Okay! So, I am NOT dead (as I'm sure you've noticed) I've just been very busy. :D We've kind of been doing some fun for the summer. ;) We've... gone camping, went to Oaks Amusement Park, gone to the beach, rode a train, and just got back from a resort. It was definitely a place for rich people. The resort, that is. And we are not rich people. ;) But anyway. I'm sooooooooo sorry for not blogging in so long. I'll try and pick up with Revelation tomorrow, but right now I've got to run. Just thought I would stop and tell every one that I am NOT dead! :D *more cricket chirps* Okay. Um.... have a good afternoon.    I'M NOT DEAD! WOOHOO!!!! XD   (Ugh, who's that? I-I don't know who that is. Bye!)

Revelation 2

I picked up a book the other day at the library, called 'The Jerusalem Countdown.' It's written by John Hagee, who is a senior pastor at Cornerstone Church, in San Antonio Texas. I haven't read very much yet because I've been pretty busy. (Mostly baking) ;) But page one and two really perked my interest. I'll write it below. 'It is nearly impossible to pick up an nationally syndicated newspaper today or watch any national morning news broadcast without hearing about the escalating unrest and impending conflict in the Middle East. Many of these news stories deal with conflict between Israel and Iran and the looming threat of Iran's development of nuclear weapons. This book is being written in the spring and summer of 2005. It's very likely that before this book is published early in 2006, America and the nations of the world will be staggering beneath the realization that Iran, a rogue Islamic terrorist state, has officially joined the nuclear club....

Revelation

I can't believe I missed two blog posts!!! Sorry!!! I totally forgot! :( I've been kind of busy lately. I noticed that I haven't done many blog post about life lately. Here goes. I have, baked eclairs, cupcakes, mini muffins (two kinds actually) and my latest accomplishment, are Florentine's. I just finished those a little while ago. The chocolate is now setting. :) I'm a little nervous about them, because I've never candied citrus peels before, and I didn't have enough time for them to cool completely before I cooked them. :/ We'll see how they turn out at snack time.     Okeydokey. Back to the Bible. :) We're going to go through Revelation now. Chapter, by chapter. This stuff is actually really cool, yet, kind of scary. :/ Anyway! :D Here goes: Revelation 1   ' The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants-things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it  by His angel to His servant John, who bo...

He Is Risen!

Luke 24: Now on the first day  of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women  with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood in front of them in shining garment. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their  to the earth, they said to them, " Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.' " And they remembered His words. Then they returned from the tomb and told these things to the eleven and to all the rest. It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother  of James, and the other women  with them, who told these things...

Jesus Death

Image
We have made to the story of His death! YAY! Okay, if you are not a christian, and are wondering why we christian's get excited about this, here's the answer. Jesus died to save us from our sins and give us a second chance. He died to redeem us. That's why we get excited for Easter. Because we were redeemed, and we get a second chance at turning from our sins. :) Exciting, right? :D Anyway. Here's Luke chapter 23. 'Then, the whole multitude of them arose and led Him to Pilate. And they began to accuse Him, saying, "We found this fellow  perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King." Then Pilate asked Him, saying, "Are You the King of the Jews?" He answered him and said, "It is as  you say." So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, "I find no fault in this Man." But they were the more fierce, saying, "He stirs up the people, teaching throug...

The Arrest of Jesus Christ

We've made it to the story of the death of Christ. This is will sound strange, but this is the happiest story you will ever hear. I'll explain afterwards.   Luke 22        No the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which was called Passover. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill Him, for they feared the people. The Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. So he promised and sought opportunity to betray Him to the them in absence of the multitude. Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover must be killed. And He sent Peter and John saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat." So they said to Him, "Where do You want us to prepare?" And He said to them, "Behold, when you have entered the city, a man will meet y...

Christ Born Of Mary

Luke 1:1-21. 'And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. So the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.    Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, f...

Prophecy #3

Hi! Sorry this is kind of late, I've been gone most of the day. :/ Anyway! :D Onto Prophecy number three. I've probably skipped a lot of prophecy's about the birth, but we might not have much time left. We need to move on to the Revelation. And that... should be very interesting. O_O Anyway. Today's prophecy, is Matthew 1:21-23. It says, ' And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,'  Which is translated, "God with us." '     You're probably wondering why we're talking about Christmas. ;) Time to do our thing. (I mean to sort) ;)   Verse 21. ' "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins....

Prophecy #2

Hello! Welcome to prophecy number two! :D I was kind of hoping to find the next prophecy a little closer to the last one, but this one is in Isaiah 9:6-7. And remember, Christ hasn't been born yet. Isaiah 9:6-7. 'For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon his shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His  government and peace There will be  no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will preform this.' Phew. Okay. SORTING TIME! :D So, first verse. 'For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.' The first part is saying that a Child will be born, and the reaso...

Random Song Post

Image
This is really random, but, I really love this song. :)      Goodnight! :D

Rest Day

Hello! :D I know I said that I would do a prophecy every day, but.... that's not really going to happen today. :/ I need to do more research, and I've been kind of busy today. So, I'll try to do one tomorrow. :) Just wanted to let you know, that Sunday's will be my study days. :D

Prophecies

Hi! Welcome to day one of... my HOPE to be, Bible study. :) What I want to accomplish through this, is learning about prophecies, and how if the ones we talk about came true, then the ones in the Revelation of Jesus Christ will come true. So... basically, we will be studying Revelation.    First prophecy to discuss: The birth of Jesus Christ. In Genesis 3:14-15, it says, 'So the Lord God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, you are  cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall cruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel." ' Well! What on EARTH does that have to do with the coming of Jesus Christ? O_O Let's find out. The Seed of the woman that it speaks of, refers to children. In Hebrews 11:17-19 it says, 'By faith Abraham, when he was tested, of...

New Happenings

So... I know that last time I changed the blog look, I said that it wasn't going to change. I lied. ;) BUT! I will explain the reason for my changing the blog look. I decided, that with this blog, I could be doing work for God by spreading His word and encouraging people around the world who read this lame little thing. ;) So, how does this apply to changing the looks? The red background represents the blood that was shed by Jesus to wash our sins away, the white behind the main post represents how our sins were washed away by His death on the cross, and His resurrection three days later. The black letters represents our sin, and how awful its was, and still is. But, we still have a chance for redemption. I'm going to try, each day, to do a small post, as if it were an online, free bible study. If you are a new believer, someone who is looking for something more to their life, or even if you're already a follower of Jesus Christ, I hope you can draw encouragement from this ...

The Easter Super Hero

Image
While Easter is coming, here's a quick thought for you. People think that Easter is all about bunnies and eggs. Why? Because Easter and spring symbolizes new life. Why? Hmm... let me think about that... Oh! Maybe it's because Jesus died on the cross to give us new life. Most people probably don't see it this way, but that's the way I see it. I hope you all enjoy the weeks leading up to Easter. If you don't know the Easter story, look it up in Luke 22:31 - 71, and Luke 23-24. It is a lot to read, but it's the most amazing story in the whole entire Bible. It's why we live today, with hope for when Jesus will return, and excitement, for when we go home to Heaven. So people, listen up... not all super-hero's where capes. And I definitely know, that mine didn't.                                                                 ...

September 11

Image
I know it's not Sept. 11th, but this is a really interesting video about it. We should always take the time to remember how many people died in that chaos. How many knew Jesus, and had Him as their personal Lord and Savior? How many cried out to Him in the middle of the crash? How many got to see Him face to face? We don't know. All we can do is keep them in our hearts, remember them, and pray that nothing like that ever happens again.

What A Powerful Name It Is!

Image
This song, is one of the most powerful songs I have ever heard. And it will always be special to me. I hope you guys like it.

Unending love, amazing grace!

Image
This is the neatest story I have ever heard. It makes me cry every time, just realizing, that there is a God who loves me more than my parents (which is saying a lot) ;) and who loved me so much that He sent His one and ONLY son, to die on a cross in our place, so that we can have a second chance, and be forgiven. And just the thought of how, He has a mansion in Heaven, and is preparing a place for me there with Him, it makes me cry every time. I don't deserve to be forgiven, I don't deserve that powerful love that burns like fire... yet He gives it. He gives it as freely as you give your friend a birthday gift. That's how much He loves you. No matter what you've done, you have another chance to ask for forgiveness. He will accept you, if you believe, that you truly are a sinner, and you believe that Jesus came and died on a cross for you, then you will be saved from hell, and eternal damnation. If you want to accept God into your heart and your life, here's a pra...

Hello! :)

Hey ya'll! :) I don't have much to blog about, so I decided to mess around with my blog looks. ;) It turned out better than I thought. :) I hope ya'll like it. :) M friend Abby's grandma passed away a little while ago, and the memorial was yesterday. I was hoping to go, but we didn't. :/ Although Abby said that they had a good time. :) I hope you guys had and have a good week, and I hope you enjoy the blog look. :) Happy Sunday to you all! :)

We Need Your Prayers!

I'm sure a lot of you have heard about the spillway in Oroville California. We have family in California. I think they are safe, but please pray for the all the people there who have been stuck in traffic for three hours. Also, please pray for all the response teams who have gone to help them, please pray that they will stay safe, and that everyone will come out of this safe, if the spillway does collapse. Thanks. :)

Please Pray! (Update)

Hey everyone. I have some news. I did a post not to long ago about a friend of mine, and how her grandmother wasn't doing very well, I got an email from my friend yesterday, and she said that her grandmother had passed away that afternoon. Thank the Lord she was a believer! We all know that she is a better place now, but it still doesn't stop the pain of missing her. Thank you so much for praying for the family, but please continue to pray! :) Thanks again. :)

Thank You Lord!

Hey everyone! I've got a quick thing I'd like to tell you all. :) Our God, is the best God anyone could ever ask for! He's faithful, just, loving, quick to forgive and quick to forget our sins. He blesses us in so many ways. I'm so glad that He is the Lord of our house. Now that I have tried to spend more time with Him, I realize that I haven't fully entrusted my life to Him. I talked to our Pastor about my problems with my faith, and he helped a lot. A few days ago, I had a friend who was having the same problem, and I was able to give her some Bible verses that had helped me, and encourage her the way our churches Pastor encouraged me. If anyone is having questions about their faith, or they want to know more, I will try to help all I can. :) If you haven't accepted Christ as your savior, I urge you to seek Him, and ask Him to become part of your life. :)                     Thank you Lord, for being there when we search for You, an...

Please Pray!

Hey everyone! I have people who view my blog all the way in China, and I really hope that there are Christians among all of my viewers. I have a friend who is having some doubts about her faith. Will you please pray for her, and that God will show her that He loves her no matter what? And, please pray for her Grandma also, who isn't doing so well. Please pray that God will give the family peace and comfort as they go through this time of their lives. Thank you so much for all you guys's views. :) I hope someday we can become comment buddies. ;) Thanks again for praying! :)

Its A New Year!

Image
Hello!!! :) Sorry about the silence. :/ I've had a busy few days. :) Saturday we spent the day cleaning, and then went to a New Years Eve party after dinner. Sunday, we went to church, and then some friends came over for my birthday I'm now fifteen. :) Then Annie and Jenna (friends of mine) stayed the night, then on Monday, my mom, dad, Annie, Jenna and I went out to lunch, and I got my ears pierced. My ears felt like fire for a minute, but then it calmed down and became a tingly sort of feeling. :)  We big kids (including mom and dad) ;) watched War Room last night. That is my absolute favorite movie made by the Kendrick brothers. I like the song in it called Crazy Faith. :)  I hope you guys have a good rest of the week! :)
