Mama, What's A Giraffe?

My younger sister didn't know what a giraffe was when my sister-in-law sent us a picture of one. So, we just had to go to the zoo. And we did. We went yesterday, while it rained. :/ And had a shivering cold good time! ;) I hope my pictures will work! Let's see...It work's!!!!!! ;) I found out that if you turn the flash off, and push the button half way down, your pictures will turn out really well!! Ohhh!!!! ;) The bear was really cute, and close to!!! There was another snoozing in a small den in a rock. I tried to get a picture, but someone stepped in my way! :( We had a good time though. It was very busy!! Thankfully, the rain let up and the sun came out for a bit, so we bought elephant ears!! YUM!!!! :)       ;) I liked the sign, so I took a picture!! ;) If I like it, I'll take a picture of it! ;)

 Free hugs!!! ;) If you can't make it out, that is a... bird of some sort. Condor's, that's what they were. It's head was up, but then right as I took the picture, it put it's head down. :( Ugh!!! Why can't you hold still a minute?!?! ;) 
 Baby turtles!!! They were SOOOO cute!!! :) 
      
This isn't a baby turtle, this is a bit bigger, and... I think it's a tortoise! I'm not quite sure. :/ 
I tried to get some pictures of Jacob, but this is all I got. :/ He doesn't like getting his picture taken. Although, I did eventually win in the end! ;)

Starting Anew

    I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve! It feels like this Christmas season has flown by so quickly!     This coming year is going to be a new start for me, and I want to make it a good one. I turn eighteen on January 1st, (cue the panic) so not only is it a new year, it's a new age for me. A new year, a new age, and hopefully a new mindset.     To be honest, whenever I heard the word 'mindset', I always kinda shut my brain down. 'Yeah, change your mindset and you can change your lifestyle, and all that stuff.' But now that things have gotten busy for me and I've gotten older, I need a new mindset. I need a new lifestyle. Jesus Death

We have made to the story of His death! YAY! Okay, if you are not a christian, and are wondering why we christian's get excited about this, here's the answer. Jesus died to save us from our sins and give us a second chance. He died to redeem us. That's why we get excited for Easter.
