News All Around! ;)

I've got some... BIG NEWS!!!!! Sort of. ;) I... am going... to enter into a writing contest! :) (YAY!!!) ;) I'm going to enter into the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest. Which is a really big event, and my writing probably isn't going to be enough to get into even third place, but, I might as well try! :) I am a little confused though. If any one knows any more about this, PLEASE comment. Any advice would so appreciated! So, do I just send my entry in as soon as I'm done writing it, and it will be judged, and the results will come by the next deadline? (Does that even make any sense?) :/ Anyway! :) The entry's are supposed to be, either, Sci-Fi, or fantasy. I'm going with fantasy, because, I could not write a science-fiction story to save my life! ;) My story (I'm trying not to give to much away) is set in the viking times, but... I don't know how they talked back then. All I know about vikings, is what I've watched from How To Train Your Dragon. :/ And they talk every day English! (I don't know why auto correct, corrected the e in English to a capital) :/ Is it supposed to be that way? :/ The rifle class that my brothers and I had been going to, is finally over. On the last day, we got to shoot some really big guns! :) Oh man, it was so LOUD! But still pretty cool! :) My brother got a video of me shooting the... M16... I think... maybe... I don't know. :/ ;) Oh, it's an AR15! :)

I just started reading a book called 'Words That Hurt, Words That Heal', by Carole Mayhall. It really got me thinking on my words. Starting Anew

    I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve! It feels like this Christmas season has flown by so quickly!     This coming year is going to be a new start for me, and I want to make it a good one. I turn eighteen on January 1st, (cue the panic) so not only is it a new year, it's a new age for me. A new year, a new age, and hopefully a new mindset.     To be honest, whenever I heard the word 'mindset', I always kinda shut my brain down. 'Yeah, change your mindset and you can change your lifestyle, and all that stuff.' But now that things have gotten busy for me and I've gotten older, I need a new mindset. I need a new lifestyle. I'm going to be an adult, I need to work harder on the important things in life such as my relationships with friends, family and the Lord, my home life, my school work, and my health.     I want to make this year better than 2019. Jesus Death

We have made to the story of His death! YAY! Okay, if you are not a christian, and are wondering why we christian's get excited about this, here's the answer. Jesus died to save us from our sins and give us a second chance. He died to redeem us. That's why we get excited for Easter.
