Life's Updates

Hey guys! How's it been? I've been a little busy, so I haven't had a whole lot of time to sit down and blog, but, the little's are napping and I think  know ( O_O ) ;D that the other's are upstairs watching Little House on the Prairie. :) The calves have been doing really good. Little O is doing well also. They have been drinking water out of the bucket really well by themselves, we don't have to straddle them to feed them their milk now (thank God) ;P, they are eating the grain that we offer them, and are starting to nibble the grass in their pasture! Whoop whoop!!!! :D Anyways. About life. Life has been good. I'm not a morning person, so trying to get up at 7:15 every morning is new to me, and I have started to drift off while reading parts of my science lately. O_O ;P But, other than that, school has been going good, I'm kind of catching on to some of the new things I've been learning in math, science of course has been great (besides the drifting off), and everything else has been fine. Um.... what other kinds of exciting things have been going on?????... uhhh.... OH! I am planning a costume party for a couple friends of mine, and that is coming up on the 19th of October. I'm not going to tell what my costume  is until after the party, and then I shall offer up pictures and details of how I put it together. (I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT IT!!!!!) XD XD XD Ahem.... So, yeah. Oh, and, my family and I went on a camping trip to Fort Stephens the beginning of this last week. It was supposed to be Sunday through Tuesday... we left Monday. The rain would. not. stop. It was just a constant drizzle, it was cold, and we basically just hung out in our yurts and stared at each other (not literally, but we sat in the yurts most of the time.) We did get to go to a museum and learn about Lewis and Clark. That was a really cool trip. :) ..... Um...... the There and Back again Hobbit's ball was a ton of fun! As you probably remember, I went as the Witch King of Angmar, and I had a lot of fun. I know my friends knew who I was, I'm not sure about anyone else though. One person asked if they could get a picture with me, that TOTALLY made my day!!!!! I've never been asked to be in a picture before!!! :D EEEEKKK!!!!! ;P Anyways. I'll be taking pictures of the costume party, and I'll make sure to post about it and my costume. :) Talk to you all later! :D

I just started reading a book called 'Words That Hurt, Words That Heal', by Carole Mayhall. It really got me thinking on my words. Starting Anew

    I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve! It feels like this Christmas season has flown by so quickly!     This coming year is going to be a new start for me, and I want to make it a good one. I turn eighteen on January 1st, (cue the panic) so not only is it a new year, it's a new age for me. A new year, a new age, and hopefully a new mindset.     To be honest, whenever I heard the word 'mindset', I always kinda shut my brain down. 'Yeah, change your mindset and you can change your lifestyle, and all that stuff.' But now that things have gotten busy for me and I've gotten older, I need a new mindset. I need a new lifestyle. I'm going to be an adult, I need to work harder on the important things in life such as my relationships with friends, family and the Lord, my home life, my school work, and my health.     I want to make this year better than 2019. Jesus Death

We have made to the story of His death! YAY! Okay, if you are not a christian, and are wondering why we christian's get excited about this, here's the answer. Jesus died to save us from our sins and give us a second chance. He died to redeem us. That's why we get excited for Easter. Because we were redeemed, and we get a second chance at turning from our sins. :) Exciting, right? :D Anyway. Here's Luke chapter 23. 'Then, the whole multitude of them arose and led Him to Pilate.
