Prophecy #2

Hello! Welcome to prophecy number two! :D I was kind of hoping to find the next prophecy a little closer to the last one, but this one is in Isaiah 9:6-7. And remember, Christ hasn't been born yet. Isaiah 9:6-7. 'For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon his shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will preform this.' Phew. Okay. SORTING TIME! :D So, first verse. 'For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.' The first part is saying that a Child will be born, and the reason I capitalized the word child, is because I'm talking about THE Child. The most important child in all the world. Please don't get me wrong, all children are precious, and important, and all lives matter, but none of those children would have a chance of everlasting life in Heaven, without this Child. We'll discuss that some other time. ;) Back on track. A Child will be born and a Son will be given. Well, who's Son? Mary's? Nope. God's. His ONLY Son. Why is God sending down His only Son to earth as a BABY? Because, it makes the sacrifice so much more precious. To know that Jesus had to live His life with sinners as a toddler, a teenager, a young adult, He probably felt more love for the people He was around every day, and wanted to save them even more with each time He met with them. Like I said, it probably made the sacrifice even more special to Him. Now, remember the story of when He was praying in Gethsemane? It says in Luke 22:39-44. 'Coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him. When He came to the place, He said to them, "Pray that you may not enter into temptation." And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours be done." Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.' Whoa. Jesus was scared???? Uh, YEAH! He was so scared that he sweat BLOOD people! O_O Anyway. Yes, the sacrifice was for the people, and He loved the people even though they were sinners, but that doesn't mean He wasn't afraid. So, back to the original track, In Isaiah, it says that a Child will be born. Who? Jesus. Unto us a Son is given. Who's? God's. For the second part of the first verse, 'And the government will be upon His shoulder.' The care of the people will be on His shoulders. He's the one giving them a new path, a second chance. Um... the third part. 'And His name shall be Wonderful, Counselor, Might God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.' These are only a few of the many names that Christ will have, but I must say, that theses are probably the best. He's wonderful, He's a counselor, someone we can go to in hard times, uncertain times, and joyful times, He's a mighty God, someone who we know can do amazing things, and work the most awesome miracles, He's (this is my favorite) our EVERLASTING Father. :) Doesn't that just make you want to smile? :D If anyone reading this has lost a father, a grandfather, a great grand father, a great-great grandfather, a great-great-great grand father, a... you probably get the idea, you can know that, even if they are gone, you still have the most amazing, loving, caring father you could ever ask for. And I know that nothing could ever replace your father, and you'll always miss him, but you still have one that will never die. That REALLY sounded wrong, I hope no one took offense for that, but it's true. And then the last one, He's a prince of peace. Okay, if Jesus is a Son, and He's the Prince, then that must mean, that God, is the King. He reigns with wisdom, love, peace, and kindness.

Moving on to the second verse (which is actually verse seven). ;)  'Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will preform this.' The increase of His government and peace, the government is His people whom He reigns over (which is a good thing) and the peace that He gives will be increased, and there will be NO end to it (I like that ;D) upon the throne of David and His kingdom. Meaning the peace will be over the throne of David (that's kind of hard to explain) and over His kingdom. And it will increase. 'To order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever.' God will order and establish the world with judgment and justice from that time, and forever. Isn't that a wonderful promise? That God will be a just God, and will give justice rightly. He knows best. He actually knows better than best, but, we'll put it that way. ;) Almost done. 'The zeal of the Lord of hosts will preform this.' Zeal, if you look the 'zeal' up in the dictionary, it says, 'Enthusiastic devotion.' :) It's kind of funny when you think of our powerful God being all excited about doing something. ;D But it's for a good reason. :) The, 'enthusiastic devotion' of the Lord of hosts, will preform these things that we just went over. He will do it. When? We don't know. My guess would be when the Revelation of Jesus Christ happens. That will come too. Are you ready for it?
